• We also suggest you review the recommended feeding chart on the bag to make sure you are feeding the right amount. It’s possible the new formula may have different recommendations based on the recipe changes.
• While these changes should not be enough to result in significant weight loss, it’s important to monitor your dog’s body condition. The feeding recommendations are a good place to start for an average, active adult dog, but the exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity, and environment.

Yes, all Purina Pro Plan Complete Essentials dry dog food formulas underwent feeding trials to assess digestibility, stool quality, and palatability and met our industry leading global standards.

While we don’t typically recommend transitioning dog food for minimal ingredient changes, some dogs with sensitivity to diet changes may benefit from a diet transition to the new formula.

• When introducing a pet to a new food, we recommend gradual diet change (10% increments) to avoid digestive upset.
• When a pet's diet is changed, it should be done gradually over a 7-10 day period by adding small amounts of new food to the food the pet is currently being fed.
• On the first day, we recommend mixing 10% of the new food with 90% of the current food.
• Each day, increase the amount of the new food while decreasing the amount of the current food.
• A gradual diet change will help prevent a refusal to eat or vomiting/diarrhea, which often occurs when sudden changes are made in a pet's diet.
• We recommend that you follow the weight reduction guidelines for overweight pets.

If you stop feeding Purina Pro Plan LiveClear to your cat, the allergen-reduction effect will stop.
