Purina Employees Helping to Break Down Barriers for Abuse Survivors & Pets

Currently, only 19 percent of domestic violence shelters accept pets. Through the Purple Leash Project, we’re helping to create more pet-friendly shelters. We’re committing not just funds, but also our hearts and hands, working on-site to renovate shelters so they can welcome pets. Purina team members are committing their time and energy to help break down the barriers, transforming shelters so survivors and pets can escape, and stay, together.

Statue Depicts Hope for Domestic Abuse Survivors & Their Pets

Courageous Together, created by Kristen Visbal for the Purple Leash Project, is a symbol of hope for domestic abuse survivors and their pets. The statue was unveiled in New York City as featured on our sponsored Good Morning America, GMA3: What You Need to Know and LIVE! with Kelly and Mark segments.
