Karina Carbo-Johnson, MS

Karina Carbo-Johnson, MS, is a Senior Nutritionist in the Technical Services department at Nestle Purina for the past three years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in Animal Nutrition from Nottingham University in England.

Before starting at Nestle Purina, Karina’s background focused on exotic animal nutrition where she formulated and prepared diets for over a thousand animals at various zoological institutions. She has now transferred her exotic animal nutrition expertise to our fellow canine and feline friends. Karina lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband, two dogs (Flynn & Dante) and cat (Rapunzel).
